# Trigger & Grace Period

This section defines **when** an alert is triggered and how much time is allowed before the alert activates.

## Trigger Point

Select the event that initiates the alert:
- **After Session End**
- **After Session Start**
- **Before Session Start**
- **Custom Trigger** (if configured)

## Grace Period

Set the time buffer (in minutes) before the alert is triggered. This grace period allows for manual resolution before automated notifications are sent.
